VA Investments is a London-based boutique merchant bank specialising in private markets.

We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), with a mandate to originate, structure, and distribute exclusive investment opportunities across Private Equity, Private Debt, and Emerging Strategies.

We were built on a straightforward conviction: that the rigour and relationship depth of traditional merchant banking, combined with the analytical power of artificial intelligence and advanced data science, can deliver a fundamentally better outcome for both issuers and investors. We are among the first financial firms to integrate AI methodologies and behavioural finance principles into the core of a merchant banking operation — not as a marketing claim, but as the operating model through which every mandate is assessed, structured, and executed.

Beyond our transactional work, VA Investments operates as a dedicated acceleration platform for emerging strategies and emerging managers. We provide boutique hedge funds, alternative investment funds, and first-generation managers with the infrastructure, regulatory framework, and distribution capabilities they need to approach institutional investors with credibility — from fund structuring and compliance support through to capital raising and ongoing investor relations.

We operate through a curated international network of institutional investors, family offices, sovereign funds, pension funds, investment banks, and alternative asset managers. Our proprietary investor database covers over 220 million profiled accredited investors globally, and our AI-driven targeting model maps each mandate to the investors most likely to engage, commit, and reinvest.

We work with PE fund managers and corporate sponsors seeking equity capital — connecting quality mandates with institutional investors, family offices, and alternative asset managers through a disciplined, data-driven process.Our experience spans buyout and growth equity strategies, direct deal mandates, and ESG-oriented transactions including renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and responsible businesses. Equity capital raising mandates range from EUR 15M to EUR 500M.

Private Debt

VA Investments acts as placement agent, arranger, and capital raiser for Private Debt mandates and direct lending structures. We work with debt fund managers and corporate borrowers seeking institutional debt capital — including direct lending, asset-based lending, development finance, sustainability-linked financing, and structured credit solutions.Our experience includes microcredit strategies, project finance, and Asset Backed Finance (ABF). Debt capital raising and structured instrument mandates range from EUR 5M to EUR 500M.

Emerging Strategies & Structured Finance

VA Investments operates as arranger and acceleration platform for emerging managers, boutique hedge funds, and cross-asset alternative investment strategies. We support managers in structuring, launching, and distributing AIFs, Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs), and other regulated and unregulated vehicles — providing access to our FCA-regulated Portfolio Advisory and Asset Management permissions where required.Our experience covers the arrangement of both regulated and unregulated SPVs, tailored to wrap active investment strategies managed by professional asset managers.
